Nemeton is a Folk Fantasy Music and Dance act in which two delightful characters, Morgan the Celt and Bella, bring audiences into an interactive experience using rare and historical instruments and dance styles.

A "nemeton" is an ancient grove where communities gather for celebration and ceremony. The spirit behind Nemeton is the intention to bring people together to create community with the use of music and dance.

A Nemeton performance includes Folk Fantasy music on ancient instruments such as medieval bagpipes, Highland bagpipes, harmonizing small pipes, double whistles, penny whistles, English concertina, rauschpfeife, hurdy gurdy, percussion, vocals, and more, as well as group dances, music collaborations, cultural dances, and original choreography. Morgan brings a deep historical knowledge of the ancient instruments and music that Nemeton performs, while Bella brings her lifelong study and practice of dance and performance.

Nemeton is available to bring their unique style of music and/or dance to bars, pubs, vineyards, weddings, festivals, stages, street performances, and events of all types.

 ABOUT NEMETON'S LOGO:

Nemeton's basic logo was designed by Morgan and Bella, with graphic design help from:

Shannon Dawn Green aka Mermaid Shannon: mermaidshannon.wordpress.com/press-kit

Nemeton's logo with their name on it with more design elements was done by:
Weslyn Wolven aka WEZSYM: https://wezsym.com/

The logo is the wheel of the year, with the quarter cross days marked with thorns, because that's what the fairies use as weapons. It is also reminiscent of looking down into a grove of trees from above.
